Neil-Doyle.jpg

I'm Neil Doyle: an independent journalist who specialises in investigative news projects. I'm also an author and a photographer.

I've been a member of the National Union of Journalists for 27 years. A few of the organisations I've worked with are listed here.

Recent stories have included an investigation into how a jailed gangster was communicating with his associates while in prison. Another was about jihadist hate preachers for The Sun.

Another key piece, for the Mail on Sunday, looked into the rise of moped-enabled crime in London.

Some images from my photography portfolio can be seen here: prints will be available soon.

I've also written two books, called Terror Tracker and Terror Base UK.

As an expert in subjects including crime, extremism and political violence, technology, and social media, I'm often asked to provide an expert opinion on these subjects, as can be seen in a piece in The Times.

I've been experimenting with technology and photography since the 1980s.

Please use the form below to get in touch. I can also be found on Twitter and LinkedIn.
